Fire and Safety Awareness Training to Faculties
Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college in Association with Fire and Safety Department KVG Medical College and Hospital Sullia organized a training programme for faculties on 31 October, 2025 on Fire and Safety Awareness. Mr. Madan Dharmappa, Officer at Fire and Safety Dept. KVGMC&H gave training on safety measures at work place and residency for faculties.

Anti-Drug Addiction Awareness Programme
Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college has organized an Oath Taking and Awareness programme for
students on Anti-Drug Addiction on 15 th September, 2025. The Principal of the college Dr. Rudrakumar M
M conveyed pledge to students. IQA C coordinator Dr. Mamatha K taken initiative to organize this event.
The Student Welfare officer Mrs. Rathnavathi D and faculty were present in this programme.
Student Enrichment Programme
Nehru Memorial College Sullia and Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized one-day Sudent Enrichment
Programme on 6 th September, 2025 at KVGMCH auditorium.
Inauguration:
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K V Chidananda, President, AOLE ® Sullia. The resource person
Mr. R A Chethanram, International Life skill Coach from Mysore, Mr. Chandrashekara Peralu,
Administrative Officer, Dr. Rudrakumar M M, Principal NMC, Mrs. Mithali P Rai, Principal NMPUC, Mrs.
Rathnavathi D, SWO NMC and Dr. Mamatha K, IQAC Coordinator were present on the stage.
The principals of sister institutions, , students of NMC, NMPUC and neighboring high schools witnessed the
programme.
Session: Study Skills
Time: 10 am to 1 pm
Resource Person: Mr. R A Chethan Ram, International Life Skills Coach, Mysore.
Objectives:
To enhance time management skill
To improve writing skills.
Boost exam preparation.
Strengthen critical thinking.
Enhance reading and note taking.
Beneficiaries: Total No. of Participants – 219
Students from NMC, NMPUC and nearby High schools and P U Colleges.
Outcome: Students were trained to improve academic performance, steps to reduce stress and anxiety,
building self-confidence.

Programme on 6 th September, 2025 at KVGMCH auditorium.
The principals of sister institutions, the teaching and non-teaching faculty of sister institutions, teaching
faculty from the neighboring institutions, students of NMC, NMPUC and neighboring high schools
witnessed the programme.
Session 2: Personality- Learning – Inspiration
Time: 2 am to 5 pm
Resource Person: Mr. R A Chethan Ram, International Life Skills Coach, Mysore.
Objectives:
Boost self-confidence and self-esteem.
To enhance leadership and career growth.
To foster decision making.
To strength better workplace relationship.
To develop positive mindset.
Beneficiaries: Total No. of Participants – 111
Faculty from NMC, NMPUC, KVG Law College, KVGMCH, KVG institute of Nursing, Faculty from
nearby High schools and P U Colleges.
Outcome: Increased self-confidence, better communication and interpersonal skills, improved leadership
qualities.

Street Play on the Occasion of World Organ Donation Day
World Organ Donation Day was celebrated on 11 August, 2025 at KVG Shashtyabdha Rangamandira in association with KVG Ayurvade Medical College and Hospital Sullia and IQAC of NMC.
Dr. Rudrakumar M M, the principal of NMC presided over the programme. Ar. Akshay K C, the General Secretary of AOLE was the chief guest of the programme.
The Students of KVG AMC performed the street play under the theme of “Answering the Call” to create awareness on organ donation and to encourage more people to donate organs. The team of 30 students were escorted by Dr. Vinayashankara Bharadwaj, the Prof. and HOD of Rachana Shareera and other two faculties of KVG AMC.
Mrs. Mithali P Rai , the principal of NMPUC, Mrs. Rathnavathi D, The student welfare Officer and Dr. Mamatha K IQAC Coordinator and all the teaching, non-teaching faculties and the students were witnessed the programme.
National Anti-Tobacco Day – Oath
The Internal Quality Assurance cell has organized the National Anti-Tobacco Day oath on 18th June 2025 for students and staff. The principal of the college, Dr. Rudrakumar M. M., read the pledge for the audience. The IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Mamatha K., has taken the initiative to organize the programme.
