Orientation Programme on AI & Cyber Security Skills

Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Humanities Association in Collaboration with CSR initiative by Honeywell- Bharath Cares jointly organized two days’ orientation programme on AI Cyber Security Skills training on 29 th 7 30 th July, 2026. Mr. Subramani P V, Senior Engagement Associate, Future Tech CSR Programme, Bharath Care was the resource person.
The programme was presided by Dr. Rudrakumar M M, the principal, Mr.Chandrashekara Peralu Administrative officer NMC was the chief guest and Dr. Mamatha K,Course Coordinator of Humanities Dept. IQAC Coordinator was present in the programme.
The orientation programme consisted of lectures, interactive discussions and practical activities to provide students with valuable information on AI & cybersecurity skills andprofessional competencies to fulfill the needs of the present world.

HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

On account of International Human Rights Day, the pledge and lecture session was held on 10 th December 2025 in the college. Dr. Mamatha K, head of the department of Political Science and IQAC coordinator delivered lecture on “Significance of Human Rights” for the students.

CAREER PLANNING INITIATIVE

Humanities Association and IQAC organized Career Planning Initiative- Competitive Exams and Strategies of Success on 11th September 2025 at college auditorium for final year students. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Chandrashekara Peralu the administrative officer. Dr. Rudrakumar M M, the principal, presided over the function. Mr. Prashanth Neelavar, Associate professor and HOD of Political Science, GFGC & Centre for PG Studies Thenkanidiyoor, Udupi was the resource person of the programme. Students were trained on the various techniques to crack the competitive examinations, informed on the focused areas of subjects and pattern of the various exams such as, UPSC, KPSC, IBPS, RRB, UGC-NET etc. Mrs. Rathnavathi D, the student welfare officer was present with eminence. Humanities Coordinator Dr. Mamatha K has taken initiative in organizing this programme.
