ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING 2020-21
The Annual General Body meeting of the Alumni Association was held on 27/08/2021 at the college Audiovisual hall (Meeting delayed due to covid-19).

Vishwanatha- The secretary, Mr. Ananda Khandiga- TheTreasurer, Mrs. Madhura M.R. – Co-ordinator of Alumni Association were present in this meeting.
CONDOLENCE MEETING
Alumni Association has conducted a condolence meeting on 27.08.2021 on the demise of prof. Shivanna Nelamane, Former HOD of Kannada.
Scholarship Distribution
On 27/08/2021 Alumni Association donated scholarships for the students who are academically good and financially backward.

NADAPRABHU SRI KEMPEGOWDA DINACHARANE-2019
Kempegowda Dinacharane programme was organised on 27-06-2019 in NMC, Sullia . This programme was organised with the collaberation of the ‘National Festivals Celebration Committe’, Sullia, Gowda Youth association, Alumni Association, NMC Sullia. This programme was inuagurated by the Mr. P.C. Jayaram, President of Arebhashe Academy, Mr. Jaware Gowda Rtd. Professor of NMC Sullia delivered Kempegowda Memorial Speech on this occassion.
Dr. K.Gridhara Gowda, the Principal , NMC,Sullia presided over the function. Mr. Khunhi Ahammed , the Thashildar of Sullia, Mr. Venkappa Gowda, member of Nagara Panchayath, Sullia, Mr. K.C.Narayana Gowda, president of Venkataramana Co-operative Society, Sullia, Mr. Chandra Kolchar, president of Alumni Association,NMC,Sullia, Mr. Dinesh Madappadi, president of Gowda Youth Association, Mr.P.S.Gangadhara, Vice president of Venkataramana Co-operative Society, Sullia and K.T. Vishwanath,C.E.O of Venkataramana Co-operative Society, Sullia were present in this programme.
Awareness programme on Cyber crime
On 24-08-2019 Alumni Association oganised a “ Awareness programme on Cyber crime” by inviting Mr. Vishwanath Devasya advocate Mysore, old student of Nehru Memorial College, Sullia, as a resource person.

AATIYA NENAPU
On 10-08-2019 Alumni Association in collaboration with Youth Redcross Wing oganised a “ Aatiya Nenapu” progamme in NMC,Sullia.This programme was inuagurated by Mrs. Shobha Chidananda, Treasurer, AOLE(R), Sullia. Mr. Chandra Kolchar, President, Alumni Association, NMC,Sullia presided over the function.
Mr. Balakrishna Bolluru, Principal, KVGP, Sullia was the Cheif Guest of the programme. Mr. K.T. Vishwanath,C.E.O of Venkataramana Co-operative Society, Sullia and Mrs. Rathnavathi D, IQAC Co-ordinator of NMC Sullia were present in this programme.

The BSW ALUMNI MEET SAMMILANA- 2018 was held on 26th Jan 2018 at the College Auditorium. Mrs. Shobha Chidananda Treasurer AOLE(R) Sullia inaugurated the programme. Dr. Giridhara Gowda .K Principal presided over the function. Mr. Chandra Kolchar, President Alumni Association, Mrs. Rathnavthi D Dept of Commerce and Co-ordinator Alumni association, Mrs Madhura M R,HOD Dept of BSW, Dr.Sandesh Rai HOD of MSW and all staff members of Dept of BSW were present in this function. Competitions were organised to alumni.
Mr. Varun VSIX Analytical Labs Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, old student of Nehru Memorial College Sullia had an interaction session with I B.Com students on 16th January 2018 in the presence of Mrs. Rathnavathi D , Lecturer, Department of commerce & Mr. Sunil Lecturer, Department of Economics.
Alumni Association has organised a programme on Leadership Training to the students, which was held on 24th January 2018 at seminar hall (Room No. 55). Mr. Manamohan JCI Zone Trainer and Alumni of NMC was the Resource Person. Mr. K.T.Vishwanath secretary, Alumni Association was the Guest. Mrs.Rathnavathi D Lecturer in commerce and co-ordinator of Alumni Association, Mr.Kuldeep Lecturer in botany were present. The programme was started with invocation by Ms Tanmayi ,I B.com ,Ms. Deepthi II Bsc extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Suraksha II Bcom .
Alumni Association NMC, sullia, in collaboration with Mithra Balaga Kayarthodi Sullia and Kannada Samskruthi Ilake organised Drama “Papu Gandhi – Gandhi Bapu” by Rangayana Dharwad on 11/09/2018 at KVG Shastyabda Rangamandira, Nehru Memorial College.
