“ALOHA AMIGOS”
The activities of 2023-24 of the Forum of Business Administration was inaugurated On 12-10-2023.
Inaugurated by chief guest Mr. Shrikrishna Sharma, Proprietor of Dangura Digital he gives a speech on importance of modern trends in business to the students. Prof. Rudrakumar M M presides the program.
Smt. Anantha Lakshmi, Convener of Forum of Business Administration and HOD of Dept.of Business Administration gives the introductory remark. The faculties of the department Mr. Hariprasad A.V., Mrs. Leena Y.N and Mrs. Meenakshi were present in the program. Chinmayee and Fathimath Thahaseena of III BBA selected as student representatives for the Forum of Business Administration for the academic year. ALOHA AMIGOS – A Fresher’s Welcome Day for the first year students from Final and second years students and organized the various cultural and other activities to the them. Fathimath Thahaseena of III BBA welcome the gathering and Meghana R of II BBA delivered the vote of thanks. Fathimath Shyma of III BBA was the MC of the Program.
Inaugural of Forum Of Business Administration and Poster making Competition
On 16-12-2022, Forum of Business Administration was inaugurated and poster making competition also arranged for BBA students. Inaugurated by chief guest Mr. Balachandra Gowda, Academic Advisor, NMC and he gives a valuable business importance to the students. Prof. Rudrakumar M M presides the programme and addressed the students to adopt the skill and talents in business life in future.
Part of this program, 12 various teams of BBA classes were participated in the poster making competition and was judged by Mr. Akshay M N, Proprietor, Design Factory, Sullia who was the resource person of the programme gives the techniques, skills and knowledge about poster making to the students. The faculties of the department Mr. Hariprasad A.V., Mrs. Leena Y.N and Mrs. Meenakshi were present in the programme.

On 21-12-2022, Forum of Business Administration was organized one day work shop on “Indian stock market” for BBA students. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Balachandra Gowda, Academic Advisor, NMC sullia and President of the function Prof. Rudrakumar M M addressed the students about the importance of stock market. Mr. Mohith A S, Business partner Sullia, Mothilal Oswal Finanacial Service Ltd. who was the resource person of the programme gives the knowledge, pros and cons, ups and downs and process of trading of Indian security market. Another resource person, Mr. Labh Bharadwaj, CD & CB, Manager, Currency & Commodity Market, Banglore, Mothilal Oswal Finanacial Service Ltd. who gives currency values, investment in currency and its current scenario to the students.

Department of Business Administration organized “CHEERIO-2K22”– A farewell for the final BBA students and to Miss. Dhanya K.S, faculty of BBA dept. on 30-08-2022. And distributed the memento to all final years students.
SHRESHTA-2K22
Department of Business Administration organized “SHRESHTA-2K22”– A National Level Inter-Collegiate Management UG Fest for the BBA and B.Com students on 22-08-2022 at College Auditorium.
The fest was conducted based on 4 events like Arthika (Fiannce), Karvat (Marketing), E-Prayog (Digital Marketing) and Advaitha (Hurman Resource). Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi, Head of the Department of Business Administration gave introduction to the program and briefed regarding all the events to the students. Ln. M. B. Sadashiva, Past Governor, Lion Club International & Chairman, M.B. Foundation, Sullia was the Chief guest and Mrs. Rathnavathi D., Student Welfare Officer, NMC, sullia was the guest of honour of the program. Chief guest, in his speech told about the failure is the step stone for successive life and how students use their talents in future working life and explained how to use the opportunity in the various field for the future growth. Dr. K. V. Chidananda, president AOLE® Sullia was presided the program by wishing and encouraging them by their fruitful words and explained the importance of involvement in various activities and field. Mr. Srishyam S. Prasad, III BBA, Student Co-ordinator welcome the gatherings. The faculties of the Department Mr. Hariprasad A. V, fest convener, Mrs. Leena Y. N and Miss Dhanya K S were present in the program. Nine various colleges were participated in the fest.
In valedictory function, Mrs. Shobha Chidananda, Treasurer, AOLOE® Sullia was the president and Mr. Shivaprasad Kanippila, president of the PTA, NMC was the guest of honour of the function distributed the prizes to the winners. St. Philomena College, Puttur and Vivekananda college, Puttur got the championship and runner up trophy respectively.
YUKTHI-2K22- MANAGEMENT FEST
Department of Business Administration Nehru Memorial College Sullia, organized YUKTHI-2K22 An Inter-class Management Fest for the BBA students on 02-02-2022 at College Auditorium.
The fest was conducted based on 5 events- Business Add Selfie, App Challenge, E-Biz, Online Case Study and 50 KA Funda. Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi, Head of the Department of Business Administration gave introduction to the program and briefed regarding all the events to the students. Prof. Balachandra Gowda, Academic Advisor, NMC Sullia was the Chief Guest for the program. In his speech he told about how technology has developed and its importance for future growth of the students. Prof. Rudrakumar M.M, Principal, NMC Sullia presided the program by wishing the students and explained the importance of the events and utilizing the opportunity. The faculties of the Department Mr. Hariprasad A.V, Fest organizer, Mrs. Leena Y..N and Ms. Dhanya K.S were present for the program. President of the program Prof. Rudrakumar M.M, Principal, NMC, distributed the prizes to the winners of the events. Shiyab M.U of III BBA Mastered the Ceremony.
Business Visit by BBA students
On 23rd December, 2021 at 10.30 a.m. Forum of Business Administration has organized a Business visit to “BIG 4 Tiles and Sanitary, Sullia” to final year BBA students for getting practical knowledge about business and its functioning. The students were escorted by Mrs. Ananth lakshmi , HOD of Business Administration and Mr. Hariprasad A V , Lecturer of Dept. of Business Administration.
FELICIA-2K21- Fresher’s Day
Department of Business Organization organized a Fresher’s Day Program- FELICIA-2k22 at Nehru Memorial College, Sullia on 26/11/2021. Prof. Rudrakumar M M, Principal, NMC Sullia was the President of the program. Prof. Balachandra Gowda, Academic Advisor, NMC, Sullia was the Chief Guest for the program. Mrs. Rathnavathi D, Student Welfare Officer, NMC Sullia was the Guest of Honour for the program. Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi, HOD of Department of Business Administration and faculties Mr. Hariprasad, Mrs. Leena Y N and Ms. Dhanya K S were present for the program.
ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON “TRAINING ON LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT”
On 09-03-2021, Forum of Business Administration organized a one-day workshop on “Training on Leadership Development” for BBA students by the Resource person Mr. Prashanth Rai, Lecturer, Dept. of Business Administration, ST. Philomina College, Puttur.
In his interaction with students in first session, he told about the “Touch of Transformation” which includes Confidence, Influence of the eyes, communication, leadership- setting an example, dual personality, etc. In the second session as a part of workshop Final year BBA students organized a small fest to the First and Second year students by conducting Quiz, Product creation and Launch and Pick and Act. Prizes were distributed to the winners and runners by the resource person. They also conducted funny games to First year BBA students as Welcome to NMC BBA family. Mr. Balachandra Gowda, Academic Advisor, NMC also present in the programme and interacted with the students. In his speech, he told that students should adopt the leadership qualities in their lives which helps to develop in every area of business and life. Dr. Poovappa Gowda, presides the programme and addressed the students to take advantage of this workshop. Smt. Anantha Lakshmi, Convener of Forum of Business Administration and HOD of Dept.of Business Administration organized the programme and the faculties of the department Mr. Hariprasad A.V., Mrs. Leena Y.N and Ms. Dhanya K.S were present in the programme. Shrishyam S Prasad of II BBA welcomed the gathering and Deeksha D. R. of II BBA delivered the vote of thanks. Diya Mariyam of II BBA was the MC of the Programme. Nischith A. of III BBA student representative for the Forum of Business Administration managed the second session of the programme.

The president of the function was Dr. Giridhara Gowda K Principal Nehru Memorial College, Sullia And Guest of Honour was Dr. Poovappa Gowda K, Student welfare officer, Nehru Memorial College Sullia and Mrs. Rathnavathi D and Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi Course co-ordinators of Commerce and Business Administration Departments , Mr. Hariprasad A V and Mrs. Yakshitha Kumari J Fest Conveners, Student conveners Mr. Jeevith D. S of III B.com and Miss. Tayyaba Taskeen of III BBA were presented in the Programme. There were 5 events conducted for the Students of Different colleges . Total 11 colleges participated in the events. Events are – Best Manager, Quiz , Finanace , Marketing , Photography. The Validictory Function was held at College Auditorium at 3.30 P.M. The President of the Programme was Dr. Giridhara Gowda K Principal Nehru Memorial College Sullia, Chief Guest was Mr. Chandra kolchar, President, Alumini association, Nehru Memorial College Sullia and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Poovappa Gowda K, Student welfare Officer NMC Sullia and Mrs. Rathnavathi D and Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi Course co-ordinators of Commerce and Business Administration Departments and Mr. Hariprasad A V and Mrs. Yakshitha Kumari J Fest Conveners, Student conveners Mr. Jeevith D. The Overall Championship secured by the ST.Philomena College Puttur and the Runners up price secured by the GFGC, Puttur .

An Inter Class Commerce and Management Fest held on 16th & 17th of October2018
An Inter Class Fest held for B.Com & BBA Students. There were 7 events conducted for the Students. Total 21 teams are participated in the events. Events are – Best Manager, Quiz, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Mobile Photography and Ice-Breaker.
The Inaugural Function was held at College Auditorium on 16-10-2018 at 2.00 P.M. and the fest was inaugurated by the President of the function Dr. K. Giridhara Gowda, Principal, NMC, Sullia. Mrs. Rathnavathi D and Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi Course co-ordinators of Commerce and Business Administration Departments , Mr. Hariprasad A.V. and Ms Yakshitha Kumari J, . Fest Conveners were present in the Programme. The Validictory Function was held at College Auditorium on 14-09-2017 at 4.30 P.M. I BBA were the winners of the fest and II BBA were the runners.
Dyuthi 2k18 A National Level Commerce and Management UG Fest held on 15th February 2018.
The Inaugural Function was held at College Auditorium at 9.30 A.M. by the Chief Guest Mr. Deekshith Kumar, Assistant Professor Government First Grade College for Women Chikkamagaluru.
The president of the function was Dr. K.V. Chidananda , President AOLE® Sullia And Guest of Honour was Professor Javare Gowda Campus welfare officer and Dr. Giridhara Gowda K Principal Nehru Memorial College Sullia and Mrs. Rathnavathi D and Mrs. Anantha Lakshmi Course co-ordinators of Commerce and Business Administration Departments , Student conveners Karthik K B and Deeksha B H of III B.com were Presented in the Programme. There were 5 events conducted for the Students of Different colleges . Total 13 colleges participated in the events. Events are – Best Manager, Quiz , Finanace , Marketing , Photography.The Validictory Function was held at College Auditorium at 4.30 P.M. There are Cash price and Trophy for All events . The Overall Championship secured by the ST.Philomena College Puttur and the Runners up price secured by the Cauvery College Gonikoppa.
On 25-01-2018 Mr. Jeethendra M.T. Proprietor, S.R. Interiors, Bangalore, old student of BBM 2014-15 pass out batch has interacted with BBA/BBM students. He is an interior designer in Bangalore and running business there, given information about the interior design and its scope, business related to that and how BBA degree helps to conduct the smooth business.
