About Us

Academy Of Liberal Education (AOLE) was founded in the year 1975 by Dr. Kurunji Venkataramana Gowda, as founder president, along with other members. The prime motto of the AOLE was to bring up the downtrodden citizens of that time’s backward place sullia. Our founder president firmly believed that a man is complete only by education.

The Academy Of Liberal Education, branching out to Primary education, Technical, Ayurveda, Dental and Medical colleges. Has established over 40 educational institutions in places like Sullia, Bhagamandala and Bangalore. Over 8,000 students from all over the country studying at KVG Educational Institutes. Moreover, besides providing education, through his educational institutions, he has provided employment to numerous people.

AOLE established with the motto "Bring Up The Downtrodden Citizens". It is registered under the co-operative societies act 1959.

1967

Establishment Of Nehru Memorial College


The institution is Academically affiliated to Mangalore University and Accreditd by both NAAC and UGC.

1976

Establishment Of Nehru Memorial PU College, Sullia

The institution is recognised by State Government of Karnataka and Academically affiliated to  Department of Pre-University Education.

1978

KVG Hospital & Research Centre, Established


200 bedded hospital was started. It is a boon to then rural area, Sullia.

1980

Establishment Of KVG Polytechnic

The institution is approved and affiliated by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the recognisation of Department of Technical Education (D T E), Bangalore, Karnataka. Presently the institution is aided by government of Karnataka.

1984

Establishment Of KVG Industrial Training Institute

The Institute is recognised by the Govt. of Karnataka and affiliated to the National Council for vocational training New Delhi. 

1986

Establishment Of KVG College of Engineering

The Institute is recognised by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka. 

1986

Establishment Of KVG Law College

The Institute is recognised by the Govt. of Karnataka and affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, Karnataka. 

1990

Establishment of K.V.G. Dental college & hospital

The institution was recognized by Dental Council of India, New elhi and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

1991

Establishment of K.V.G. English Medium High School, Sullia

The institution is recognised by State Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board.

1992

Establishment of K.V.G. Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital

The institution provides Ayurveda education at the graduate and postgraduate levels, regulated by the statutory apex body- the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (N.C.I.S.M.), Delhi -and affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka.

1996

Upgradation of KVG Hospital & Research Centre


The 200 bedded Hospital was upgraded to 500 bedded hospital.

2002

Establishment of K.V.G. Medical College & Hospital

The institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission(NMC).

Establishment of K.V.G. Institute of Nursing Sciences

KVG College Of Nursing Sciences Is Affiliated With Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), Bangalore (Karnataka)2002
