On 03/03/2021 Department of PG studies in Commerce organized Guest talk on “Basics of GST”, Mr. Rudrakumar M.M Professor of commerce Department of commerce Nehru Memorial College Sullia is invited as resource person for the program. Prof. M. Balachandra Gowda Academic Advisor, Nehru Memorial College Sullia is invited as a chief Guest.

On 14th sept. 2017 AzarathKhaleel. M, Ashwini.D, Shivaji.K , Avin.P.D, Josna Joseph, Radhika Rao, Deepak.T.T ,Ranjith.K.H, Ashwitha.M participated in Inter Collegiate National Fest- “Innovision” hosted by Dept. of P.G Studies in Commerce, Besent Women’s College, Kodialbail, Mangalore.
On 24th October 2017 all the students and faculties of M.com Department visited Kamath Cashew factory, Adkar and Nesara Water purifying and bottling center Sullia, D.K., and noticed the insight of the work, functioning and activities being undertaken in the factory.
Ashwini.D and Ashwitha.M of 1st M.com presented paper in One Day National Seminar on “GST- A Reform in Indian Economy”on 10th October 2017 at Mangalore Academy of Professional Studies.[Title of the Paper: Trim of Multiple Taxes: A study with reference to the perception of textile shopkeepers of Sullia and Puttur on implication of GST].
An association is formed called “Ignite – 2017” with motto of making the students competent to face the challenges of the competitive era,through imparting quality and value based education.
In this association, we conduct Commerce and management related activities toenhance innovative skill and improve communication skill, provide research guidelines and there by focus on overall development.
On 29th July 2017, Mrs. VijayaSaraswathi, Coordinator, Department of P.G Studies in Commerce, Vivekananda College Puttur inaugurated M.com Department.
