Ms. Keerthi E D of II B.Sc secured 3rd place in University level Hindi Elocution competition held at Vivekananda College Puttur on 18th March 2025.
The Dept. of Hindi has celebrated Hindi Diwas by organizing Completion of Story Writing Competition and Framing New Words Competition for students on 14th September 2024. Dr. Rudrakumar M M, principal of the college presided over the programme. Mrs. Mamta H V, the head of the department organized this event.
On 21st June 2023 Writer Vishnu Prabhakar’s Birth Anniversary was celebrated with some events
On 01-06-2023 Hindi Debate Competition was conducted. The topic was “Chunav Ke Pehle Logon Ko Muft Soulbyatha Ke Vaade Karna Vardaan Ya Abhishaap.”
Hindi Seminar
College Hindi Sabha organized a National Webinar on “HINDI DIWAS” on 14.9.2021. Dr. Nagarathna N.Rao, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi, University college Mangalore was the Resource Person. College Principal Prof. Rudra Kumar M M, IQAC Coordinator Rathnavthi D, Hindi sabha Convener Manoj Kumar and Rajeshwari A, College Teaching Non-Teaching staff members, Student and General Publics witnessed the program.
Department of Hindi has Organized National Level E-quiz on “Hindi Language” for Students, research scholars, and academicians, form 17.07.2020 to 31.7.2020. There was a commendatory response from all over India as well as form overseas.
Total 1,942 participants have registered and successfully completed the quiz and awarded E-Certificate, Mr.MANOJ KUMAR, HOD of Hindi has strived to organise this quiz programme .
Hindi Department-National Level Quiz
Hindi department under the auspicious of Hindi sabha conducted Hindi day celebration on 18th September 2018 at audio visual hall. Prof Ramakrishna K S, Associate Professor G.F.G.C , Sullia was the chief guest of this program. Dr.major K Giridhara, Principal NMC presides over the function. Mr.Manoj kumar was the convener of this program. Shifanaz Banu was the master of ceremony of this program. Miss.Monika M H welcome the gathering and Mr.Thejas conclude the program.
