Placement Drive by Advaith Hyundai for Sales Executives
Mr. Anand Kumar, general manager of Advaith Hyundai visited the college on 29th May 2023 initiating campus placement for the post of sales executive at Mangalore and Bangalore division for final year undergraduate students. He instructed the students on the prerequisites required for the position of sales executive at Advaith Hyundai Motors. Placement and career cell coordinator Dr. Vijayalakshmi N.S. was present at the event.
Workshop on competitive examination by T.I.M.E.S
A workshop on Competitive Examination By T.I.M.E.S was conducted in the college on 12th May, 2023 to the final year students, The Times representative guided the students on the benefits associated with the coaching. Mrs Rathnavati D, student welfare officer and Mr.Vishnu Prashanth B. Co-Cordinator of placement and Career Cell were present at the event.
CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE By ICICI bank
The campus placement drive for final year students was held on 20/04/23 at the institutes audio visual room. ICICI representative Mr.shiv Kumar briefed the students on the recruitment process towards ICICI relationship manager executuve. Placement and career cell co-ordinator Dr.vijayalakshmi N.S and Co-cordinator Mr.Vishnu Prashanth B were present on the event.

The inauguration of soft skills training program was held on December 5th, 2022 at 10.30 am at the auditorium of the college. Mr.Hemachandra deputy director U.E.I.G.B. inaugurated the program and vehemently spoke of the need of soft skills for the present generation. Mr.Suresh Shastri, the soft skill trainer of the naandi foundation lighted the lamp and led the formal inaugural program. Dr.Vijayalakshmi N.S, placement and career cell coordinator welcomed the gathering. Prof. M.Balchandra Gowda – academic advisor, Prof Rudrakumar M.M – principal, Mrs.Mamatha K – IQAC coordinator, Mrs.Rathnavathi D were present along with 36 registered students of the one week long soft skill training program.
Mega Job Fair
The second mega job fair was organised at our college premises on November 26th 2022 under the flagship of placement and career cell 2023 in association with career destiny placement organisation which was inaugurated by Shri S.Angara, Minister of state for fisheries, government of Karnataka. 1724 registered participants from all over the state participated in the program, where by 4.30 pm nearly 264 candidates received their selection order in respective companies and 864 participants had cleared the first two rounds of scheduled interview by 200 odd companies. People from all walks of life educated to illiterate found an aspired job at this event. The principal Mr.Rudra kumar M.M, Placement and career cell coordinator Dr.vijayalakshmi N.S, Mr.Hemachandra k and Mr.rohit from Karnataka skill development authority along with other staff volunteers of the institute as well as NSS and NCC student volunteers actively participated in the program to make it a grand successful event.
Soft Skills Training Program Valedictory December 10, 2022
The soft skills training valedictory program was held on December 10th, 2022 at 2.00 pm. The six days soft skills training program came to a fag end with Mr.Suresh Shastri, soft skill trainer of the “ naandi ” foundation handing over the certificates and medals on soft skills to the 36th registered final year students of various streams. The participants affirmed the effectiveness of the soft skills training.
The co-coordinators of the placement and career cell Smt.Divyashree T.S., Mr. Vishnu Prashanth B., Mr. Hariprasad T.S. and District U.E.I.G.B Coordinator Mr. Rohit were present on the occasion.
“Skill Connect” program December 10, 2022
The “Skill Connect” program was held at the auditorium of the institution on December 10, 10.30 am. Mr.Rohit, District coordinator of U.E.I.G.B., emphasised the need for registering of students at the given web link of the skill connect program of the government of India. The final-year students of all sections were present on the occasion. Dr.Vijayalakshmi N.S, Coordinator of placement and career cell presided over the function. Mr.Suresh Shastri of “naandi” foundation and other co-ordinators of the placement and career cell Mrs. Divya T.S., Mr.Vishnuprashanth B and Mr.Hari prasad AV were also present at the occasion.

Placement and Career Guidance Cell in Association with Gillette Co, & Vijaya-karnataka Newspaper organized a career Guidance program on “How to face Interview” for the final year students of the college on 08/02/2022 at the College Auditorium at 11.45 am
Mr. Punith P. R. was the resource person for the program. He has taken the session on facing the interview & Organized various activities for the students. Mr. Padnabha P. and Mr. V. Ganesh were present.

Mr. S.J. Hemachandra, DSDO and Employment Officer, MU was the resource person for the program. He has taken the session on various job opportunities, employability skills, and details about applying for jobs in this competitive world.

Placement and Career Guidance Cell Association with Naandi Foundation organized 7 days of Soft Skill Training for the Final year Girls Students of the College from 07/02/2022 to 13/02/22 in the College Audio-Visual Room

Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Placement & Career Guidance Cell in association with Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management studies organized a webinar on “Career Opportunities in Emerging Sector” for the final year students of the College on 13-01-2022 in the Audio-Visual Room at 3.00 pm.
The resource person Dr. Biplab Kumar Biswal, Director of Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, has Taken a session on Career Opportunities.

On 09-09-2019 Placement & Career Guidance Cell organized a workshop on “SOFT SKILLS” by inviting Mr. Deekshith Kumar, Assistant Professor Government First Grade College for Women Chikkamangaluru as a resource person. Dr. K. Giridhara Gowda Principal, NMC, Sullia presided over the function. Prof. M. Balachandra Gowda, Rtd. Principal, Academic Advisor, Nehru Memorial College, Sullia was the Chief Guest of the programme.
